About the Job
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering systems, drive trains, treatment systems, wheel ends, and tires for tractors.
  • Performs preventative maintenance services, including changing oil, checking fluids, inspecting/replacing batteries, testing lights, and lubricating equipment.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
  • Receives and carries out instructions.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Can work in an open environment (seasonal weather).
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Communicates effectively.
  • Possesses knowledge of skilled trades such as automotive or diesel mechanics.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required but may occasionally carry up to 130 pounds.
  • Uses computers and software programs proficiently.
  • Safety shoes (steel or composite toe) required.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time.

Pay: Varies on experience/education.

Schedule:
  • Shifts Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.
  • Shop Hours: 7:00 am - 4:pm ; Saturday 7:00 am - 12:00pm.
